Diversity at WPN
Learning for a better tomorrow
Change doesn’t happen on its own. It’s an active and ongoing process. Identifying our biases and recognizing how they impact our perceptions in the workplace is just the first step in embracing diversity. We’re proud to offer a wide range of programs and forums that support and foster inclusion at WPN. Not only do we routinely assess our culture and management initiatives, but we share our findings companywide so every department can take part. We welcome everyone to benefit from what we’ve discovered and all our cultural diversity programs offer.
Our commitment to diversity and inclusion
Equality, inclusion, and diversity are part of our DNA. They’re critical to the success of our business and they make our employees, products, and users stronger. As robust as our commitment is, we always hold our leaders accountable as we strive to improve representation in our workplace and nurture a culture of greater inclusivity.
Representation is more than a buzzword
The diversity of the WPN family is no accident. A representative workforce that includes women and minorities not only gives a broad range of perspectives, but it reflects the diversity of the communities we serve at home and across the world.
Don’t be afraid of second glances
Your instincts aren’t always right. There’s never any harm in giving your initial thoughts another look and everyone can benefit from a second set of eyes. It’s worth taking the time to remove biases from your work and decision making.
Be clear and consistent
Making objective decisions doesn’t happen by chance. Always use clear criteria and a consistent framework in your decision making.
Inclusion, equality and diversity beyond our door
Our push for equality doesn’t end when our employees punchout. We’re huge proponents of equality and justice in the broader community. From sweeping criminal justice and immigration reform, to LGBTQ rights, we aim to be on the right side of history when it comes to equality for all. That’s why we offer our support to civil rights groups who push for greater inclusion on a national scale.
Champions of change
WPN realizes that advancing social change and diversity cannot happen all at once. However, we strive for continuous improvement in our hiring and empowering those people to make change. Add that to our own efforts as a company and we’re really starting to get somewhere.
Accountability is a team effort
We’re proud of our enthusiastic team. Employees at all levels have demonstrated a strong commitment to improving the experience of underrepresented groups at the Winning Poker Network, as well as making our services inviting and inclusive for all. WPN thanks everyone who upholds our principles of diversity, inclusion and equality.
